חליפה ביקרה בחריפות את רונדה ראוזי, שלאחרונה הצטרפה ל-WWE, ולא השאירה שבויים: "אין לי שום כבוד ל-WWE", כתבה. "זה לא ספורט אמיתי וזה מביך. כאן הקריירה של רונדה הסתיימה".
הוריקן הלמס, מתאבק מוכר וידוע, לא נותר אדיש לדבריה של כוכבת הפורנו לשעבר והשיב אש: "אני לא אתעצבן מכך שכוכבת פורנו לא מכבדת היאבקות מקצועית. היא אחראית לדעה שלה. הגוף שלנו, המתאבקים, רגיל לקבל מהלומות…וגם שלה".

חליפה נולדה בלבנון ועברה בגיל צעיר לארה"ב על מנת ללמוד בקולג'. בהמשך הגיעה לתעשיית הפורנו וכיום היא כאמור עובדת בין היתר גם בתחום הספורט. החשיפה הרבה, כצפוי, מעוררת תגובות קשות במדינה בה נולדה.
חליפה חשפה בעבר שהיא מקבלת איומים מדאעש ומחיזבאללה. מישהו כתב לה שיערוף את ראשה, אחר הכריז כי ירצח אותה. "אסור להראות שום חולשה", הסבירה הכוכבת. "מנסה להתעלם, אבל זה כן משפיע", הודתה.
